Great scavengers eating just about anything off the bottom of the tank. Very curious and animated fish, you will fall in love with these guys. |

They do like to uproot decorations, live in the substrate, and jump out of open tanks, but other than that they are very durable. More than one owner has found this species lying out on a floor somewhere after hours being out of the tank only to put it back in with no ill effects. |

This fish is referred to as the "Weather Loach" due to its swimming wildly during any sudden changes in barometric pressure, thus being able to predict storms up to 24 hours in advance, These guys are better than your local weatherman! |
