A very beautiful member of the cichlid family with deep cobalt blue coloring and distinctive yellow on the ends of its fins and/or barbels. It loves large rocks and sandy bottom tanks, especially those with brown algae growths on the rocks. It prefers live brine shrimp and other invertebrates to feed on. |
