Do not place in tanks smaller than 10 gallons per fish, 15+ gallons per fish is preferred. |

Inexpensive, Super for the kids or first time out! Just don't be lulled into the misconception of placing this species in a small bowl, an 5 to 8 inch fish at adulthood does not belong in a bowl. |

Peaceful, However as they grow they will eat just about anything else that swims in the tank. |

Super for a tank, best if kept by themselves or only with fish larger than they are. So many different varieties and subspecies from the Lion head, Pompon, Telescope, Celestrial or Egg fish. I do not recommend these fish in community tanks due to their carnivorous behaviors. |

Many people place these fish in bowls, I cannot condone or encourage that practice since nearly all Goldfish species can get well over 5 " in length. Best kept in tanks 20 gallons or larger. |
