   76-82 deg. F.

AVG. MAX. SIZE:
   Varies by species but generally no larger than 7 inches / 15 cm.

MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
   Do not place in tanks smaller than 35 gallons, 50+ gallons is preferred for most species.
   Dwarf Gourami are then only exception to this and can be placed in tanks at 20 gallons.

BREEDING:
   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
   Mainly  Flake, Brine Shrimp & Frozen Blood Worms.

NOTE:
   Many different varieties and colors available.

LIGHTING:
   Bright, but not direct sunlight.

TEMPERAMENT:
   Generally peaceful and a very good community fish can become quite territorial especially with other closely related species.

COMMENTS:
   A great fish, with their colors it is nice to show them off in a community tank. Excellent fish to use instead of a more aggressive Cichlid.
