Peaceful, very good community fish. Need to be in pairs, keeping as a solo species will significantly shorten their life span.

COMMENTS:
A great scavenger and will grow as large as your tank allows, I have seen specimens over 15" in length.

A super indicator fish, swimming habits and skin color will change as water quality changes. Sort of an early warning system. Must be in pairs or more. Constant swimmers and LOVE to do circles through air bubbles. A great inexpensive fish for beginners as well as the more experienced fish-keepers.
