AVG. MAX. SIZE:
   15 inches / 30 cm.
   Often other species of gourami are sold as Kissing Gourami and do not obtain a size greater than 6+ inches.

MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
   Do not place in tanks smaller than 55 gallons, 75+ gallons is preferred.

BREEDING:
   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
   Mainly Flake and live &/or frozen worms.

NOTE:
   Best in pairs, get thier name from the "Kissing" action of thier mouths. Especially when more than one of these is in the same tank.

LIGHTING:
   Bright, but not direct sunlight.

TEMPERAMENT:
   Peaceful, very good community fish.

COMMENTS:
   Nice fish, generally pinkish in color but many other colors can be found within the species. . A member of the Gourami family but without the tell-tale elongated barbels. Love to zoom in and around vegetation.
