   Do not place in tanks smaller than 75 gallons, 125+ gallons is preferred.

BREEDING:
   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
   Scavenger but prefers live earthworms, fish and beef heart.

NOTE:
   Should be kept in pairs or more, unusual species as it can adapt to freshwater, brackish as wel as marine conditions. An ideal scavenger for larger brackish tanks.

LIGHTING:
   Bright, but no direct sunlight.

TEMPERAMENT:
   Peaceful, good community fish, as long as the community is larger than he is.

COMMENTS:
   Nocturnal scavenger will eat just about anything including other members of the community aquarium. Prefers to hide during the day in rockeries or vegetation. Will grow up to around 15 " in length, so be prepared if you have a small tank!
