Very similar to the more commonly found Chinese Algae Eaters but smaller, but I find them superior to the CAE's as Oto Cats do not show the aggressiveness that CAE's do as they age. |

Peaceful, very good community fish. Loves rocks and vegetation. Hanging around on glass walls is a favorite pastime. |

A must have in any small aquarium, but even better when in a larger environment. In a large tank try to get at least a school of 4 fish or more, they just love to swim around together. Somewhat active swimmer. Can be found hanging upside down under a leaf or behind a piece of driftwood. Can grow upwards of 2" in length. A very inexpensive Fish. Can be distinguished from other algae eaters by its distinctive angled head shape. |
