MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
   Do not place in tanks smaller than 125 gallons, 250+ gallons is preferred.

BREEDING:
   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
   Mainly Live Fish Pellets, Beef Heart and other meats.

NOTE:
   Avoid feeding an exclusive diet of feeder goldfish to prevent build up of toxic enzymes.

LIGHTING:
   Dim as possible.

TEMPERAMENT:
   Peaceful, can even be "petted" by most owners with time, but will swallow just about anything else in its tank, so be careful.

COMMENTS:
   These monsters like to grow and grow big, they lots of room, this species is not for the average keeper.

   They are nicknamed "Tank Busters" for a good reason, many have charged into the walls of aquariums and have busted through or at the least cracked the glass. I highly recommend you have some sort of plan together as to what you would do when this happens, like having another tank available and reinforcing the ends of your current tank with additional panes of glass or acrylic.
