Chapter 11: I Wanna Love You Forever
Justin and I finished bungee jumping and went to take a
walk, with my dog Curly, whom we had gotten out of the car.
“So, Ashley, you mean to tell me, you never missed me?” Justin asked kicking a pebble out of his path.
“Justin, how can you say that? I will always continue and will always love you, you know that.” I said stopping to look at him.
“Then? Why? Why can’t we get back together?” Justin asked me.
“Justin, we both know that our relationship didn’t work out well, and if I must remind you, you had sex with Mandy, you cheated on me with Melissa, there isn’t a lot I have done to this relationship,” I pointed out to him.
“Yeah, but a man, can make mistakes.” Justin said putting his arms on my shoulder.
“Yeah, well that’s one too many for me.” I said laughing lightly.
“Besides, I know plenty of girls, who would die to go out with you.” I said smiling.
“Well, there’s that Britney-girl, I think you know her but I’m not sure...” I said laughing.
“Ha Ha, very funny, what me and Brit. have is a strictly platonic relationship.” Justin said putting his hand in there air.
“Which, is what you and I have.” I said picking up Curly and putting her into my arms.
“Yeah, but what if I want more than that?” Justin asked me.
“What if I said, I’ve got a boyfriend?” I shot back.
“What if I said, I saw him 5 feet away from us, walking Lil Tyk and Leighanne?” Justin said squinting.
“What if I said, you better be lying?” I said to him covering my eyes to block the sun, and try to spot my boyfriend.
“What if I said, no?” Justin said.
Suddenly I spotted them, and Leighanne with 3 bags in her hand, all from expensive designer stores. The same store ads, I saw Brian circling when I peeked in his room last night.
“This is not happening,” I whispered to myself.
“Come on, Justin, I don’t wanna disturb them.” I said walking back to the car.
“He’s allowed to be with anyone he wants to. Come on, let’s go.” I said to Justin. He walked to the car, got in taking one glance at me, started the car, and drove off.

“Bri, wasn’t that your girlfriend?” Leighanne asked.
“Where is she?” Brian asked frantically.
“She can’t know yet,” Brian said.
“You can’t keep this a secret for too long, she’s gonna find out sooner or later,” Leighanne warned.
“Better later than sooner.” Brian said laughing.
Suddenly two girls ran up to Leighanne and Brian.
“Hi, Brian can we have your autograph?” they asked.
“Sure,” Brian replied happily.
“I thought you broke up with her,” one girl said looking at Leighanne.
“If you don’t mind, I’d rather keep my personal relationships personal,” Brian said to her seriously.
“Ok, cool.” she said backing off.
“There you go,” Brian asked.
“Thanks,” they replied running off.
“My, aren’t young teenagers getting so much more talkative and open?” Leighanne said laughing.
“Oh yeah,” Brian said sighing as they continued their walk through theme park.

“So, what are you going to do?” Justin asked me.
“I don’t know, nothing I guess,” I replied taking a big sigh.
“Ashley, you at least need to confront him on this,” Justin replied taking a glance at me, before setting his eyes back on the road.
“And ask him what? Why were you with your ex-girlfriend and not with me?” I don’t think so,” I said.
“When did you become so interested in my love life anyways?” I asked him.
“I love you, you know that, I’m just looking out for ya.” Justin said stopping the car by my house.
“Yeah, well I do love you Justin, not in the way you’re talking about,” I said and I watched his face drop.
“But I do love you. Can I have a hug?” I asked him.
I reached over and gave him a hug and Justin gave me a kiss on the cheek.
“I’ll see you later.” Justin said.
“Bye,” I said grabbing Curly and exiting Justin’s vehicle. I waved to him as the car drove off.
