Chapter 53: It's
Gotta Be You
"She's still sleep?" Nick asked incredulously.
"Yep!" Brian said fingering my hair.
"So Brok, what's up with the candles, and roses?" Nick asked smiling.
"I was uh, trying to create the greatest mood environment.. but we both were so out of it, to test it out," Brian said grinning.
"Oh I see.." Nick said laughing.
"What's so funny?" Julie asked.
"Nothing.." Nick said the smile still on his face. My cell phone started ringing.
"I swear this girl, gets so many phone calls it's unreal!" Brian declared.
"Hello?" he said answering the call.
"I need to talk to Ashley," Justin said to no one in particular. He dialed the number only to hear her boyfriend's voice answer.
"Hey, is Ashley sleep? I know that girl can sleep for so long?" Justin said trying to make light of the awkward situation.
"Yeah, she is.." Brian said.
Damn....
"But I'll tell her you called," Brian said and hung up.
Gosh I miss that girl.. She's my everything and I let her slip away. Stupid me.. now I'll never get her back...
"Who was that?" Nick asked.
"Justin," Brian replied. "Oh wait I think Ashley finally starting to wake up!"
"Ashley?" Brian said gently.
"Hey sweetie, where are my clothes?" I asked immediately.
"Yeah she's up!" Nick said.
"They are in the trunk!" Brian answered laughing.
"So, you decided to put me in a car, with only silk short pajamas.. and tennis shoes?" I asked him warily.
"You look hot anyways?" Brian said.
"Thanks," I said smiling. I felt a shiver of coldness run threw my body. Nick saw this and offered me his black leather jacket.
"Thanks," I said trying to put it on.
After like 5 min I got it on. I could tell Julie had a bit of a problem with it.. but she was already in her own world to care much. I had Tyke in arms.. he was also asleep. Well, we reached the airport. I got out and got a couple of whistles from the 3 other guys. I laughed and walked inside.
Amanda, Kat, Claud and Julie left their bags for their guys to catch. I had already gotten an outfit out of the suitcase, and we all went in the restroom. I changed into my black leather pants, a blue satin top and Nick's leather jacket. I had my tennis shoes on also.
"So, Ashley what exactly happened last night?" Amanda asked.
"Well, nothing!!! He had planned the entire thing out.. it was so romantic, Nick came in looking for Julie, and Brian ended up falling asleep before we could start anything.." I said pouting, while applying a very thin layer of makeup.
"Oh, I know that sucks for you!" Kat said.
"Yeah, well.. hopefully we can get through one night.. without something happening!" I said sighing.
"Well all you gotta do is put one of those 'Do Not Disturb' signs on the door and they won't bother you. Me and AJ do it all of the time!" Amanda said laughing.
We all shared a laugh before leaving... and finding the guys impatiently waiting for us.
"Hey, what's with the annoyed looks?" Kat asked smiling at Kev.
"We're late! Do you always have to waste valuable time? On your looks?" Kev asked. Kat pulled back hurt.
"When you know you don't need it," he finished smiling. Kat smiled and gave Kev a kiss.
"Come on, guys!" Howie and Claudia yelled.
"You look great.. did I tell you that?" Brian said running.
"All the time, but I love hearing it again." I said to him. I had Tyke in my arms so it made it extra hard to run. So finally we Boarded the plane. Brian did his usual ritual before he entered the plane.
I looked back at Nick who was all comfy. And Julie who had this dreamy sort of expression that she never had with him. I sighed and looked at Brian. He looked back at me.
"I love you Ashley, you know that right?" Brian said.
"Yeah I do," I whispered back and got ready for the long plane ride.

"Hey JC, wanna go out clubbing?" Justin asked. But JC was in a deep conversation with Bobbi.
Man, well I guess it's just me then.
"Gosh, Ashley do you know how much I miss you? If only I could tell you... if only you could move back to Florida, that way everything could be back to normal... I miss you so much.." Justin said mumbling to himself while he drove to the beach, and looked out at the waves replaying the first time he met me.
He got up drew a big heart with the words "Justin and Ashley Forever," and walked away before the water would wash it away.
"I love you Ashley, I'm sorry I acted like a jerk," he yelled into the air.
And for the first time, he broke down and cried. For what he had lost.. because knew there was a chance he would never get her back.
"Why me?" he yelled weeping. He got into his car, and drove back to his hotel.. he almost forgot he had a show to do. The last one. Then it was back home.

"You have reached your final destination... Florida.." the announcer said.
"Brian, wake up sweetie, we're here.." I told him.
I got Tyke and got ready to get up. Florida. Finally Home.
I wonder what my life has in store for me today? But I'm so Happy to be Back Home! I thought as I waited for Brian, and we exited the plane hand in hand.
