Chapter 5
"Any progress Yvonne?" I yelled.
"NO!"
I put my head in my hands. "What are we gonna do?"
Kevin put his hand on my back. "You'll think of something. If not we'll cancel the concert and say Brian and AJ are sick."
"OK, but I really prefer AJ as a human."
"I think we all do."
He left and I went to find AJ. I searched the entire bus but couldn't find him anywhere.
"Hey, Yvonne, you seen AJ?"
"Nope."
Then I noticed the front door open. "Oh crap," I breathed.
"What?" Yvonne asked. I pointed to the open door.
"Crap," she added.
We ran out the door and looked around frantically. We didn't see him. "Yvonne, you go right, I'll go left."
"Right."
We took of in our direction.I walked down the road miserably. "AJ's gone and it's my fault."
Then I saw him. In the path of a car! "AJ!" I screamed and took off running. The car's brakes squeeled and it missed him by inches. I grabbed him and started walking for the bus.
"AJ I'm so sorry about this mess. I really wish none of this had happened. If I had lost you I don't know what I'd do. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I love you." I kissed the top of his head.
"Hey, what's going on?" AJ yelped.
I looked at him. "Oh my gosh! AJ you're back!"
"Huh?"
"Long story, I'll tell you later. Right now I gotta find Yvonne." I grabbed his hand and ran for the bus.
We slammed into Nick. "Hey AJ you're back!"
"For the last time what the hell happened?"
"Tell you later," we said together.
"ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!"
"Yvonne!"
"What?"
"Come here!"
"This better be good!"
She ran in dragging Brian, who was chewing on a can, with her. "Oh my gosh you found the reverse spell! What do I do?"
"Kiss him."
"Oh, OK." She bent over and kissed him. Nothing happened. "It didn't work!"
"Then tell him how you feel."
"Oh, um, Brian," Yvonne began.
AJ interrupted, "You named the goat Brian? What's going on?!"
I glared at him and he shut up.
Yvonne began again. "Brian I'm so sorry I did this to you. If I don't turn you back I won't be able to go on, I love you too much."
Next thing we knew Brian was standing there looking confused.
"What happened? Why am I chewing a can?"
Yvonne and I looked at each other.
"You might want to sit down," Yvonne said. They sat down.
"Well..." We told them the whole story. Their jaws dropped.
"You're a witch," AJ gasped. I nodded my head.
"Yeah."
"Why didn't you say anything?" Brian asked.
"Well," Yvonne said quietly,"we aren't supposed to say anything unless absolutely necessary, which it was when we turned you into goats."
"So everyone knows," AJ threw in.
"Yup."
Brian still seemed a little agast.
"You ok," I asked.
"Yeah, just a little shocked. What else can you guys do."
"Since Carrissa and I are twins we can talk to each other in our minds. We can use our minds to talk to you too but it'll be out loud."
"And we have psychic powers," I added. I turned on the lamp. They looked astounded.
Then Yvonne picked up a book and brought it over to Brian. I started to lift the table when my head started to hurt real bad.
"Ow."
"Carrissa what's wrong?" AJ looked at me oddly.
"My head..." That was as far as I got before I blacked out.
