Day Four Continued
(File 2)
Daniel's Seven Times is a Time Bridge with a dual application. And both applications require understanding.
That is, it's a multifaceted puzzle of many pieces wherein each piece depends on the proper assembly of other pieces. Then to complicate matters it is two puzzles in one wherein the myriad pieces are mixed together. So, let's assemble the overall picture first.
The 2520 Year Time Bridge: Daniel, called Belteshazzar, explains King Nebuchadnezzar's dream that explains that the King will be as a beast:
"... till seven times pass over him."
Daniel 4:16,23,25,32
Thus, from the beginning of King Nebuchadnezzar's reign until the completion of The 35 Years of Tribulations encompasses 2520 years (i.e. from when Nebuchadnezzar was crowned King in 3502 from Creation thru 6021 from Creation equals 2520 years or 7 X 360). And, Leviticus 26:14-33 describes the 35 years of Severe Tribulations as five periods of seven times (years); while, Revelation 6:1 thru 16:21 also speaks of these same 35 years of Severe Tribulations as the Seven Seals, the Seven Trumpets, the Seven Thunders, and the Seven Plagues each of which continues through 6021 from Creation. And the 14 Preparation Years (Exodus 12:1-14; Colossians 2:16-17; Nahum 2:3) plus the 21 Year Half-Hour Wait (Revelation 8:1; Isaiah 26:19-20) equals a total of 35 years.
Ezekiel 26:7-12 says that the LORD will bring Nebuchadnezzar against Tyrus to destroy it. Whereas, Revelation chapters 17 and 18 speak of this world as being a great mercantile city which is to be destroyed in one hour (Revelation 17:12; 18:9-10,17,19). And one hour of a 1,000 year day represents 42 years.
In ancient times Nebuchadnezzar began his siege against Jerusalem in the year 3499 from Creation, the third year of Jehoiakim's reign (Daniel 1:1; II Chronicles 36:5-7; Ezekiel 24:1-2). At that time Jehoiakim cooperated and had become Nebuchadnezzar's servant for three years (II Kings 24:10).
Meanwhile, Nebuchadnezzar's father died and Nebuchadnezzar returned to Babylon to assume his father's crown and throne. Nebuchadnezzar then began his return to Jerusalem as the King of Babylon. But first he had to defeat Pharaoh-necho, King of Egypt, in Carchemish in the fourth year of Jehoiakim "... that was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar (as) King of Babylon" (Jeremiah 25:1; 46:2). Jehoiakim apparently was with the King of Egypt in Carchemish as Jehoiakim had revolted against Nebuchadnezzar.
Nebuchadnezzar's father died: Nebuchadnezzar returned to Babylon for his coronation. Meanwhile, Jehoiakim rebelled and apparently solicited Pharaoh-necho's help to go against Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar's 1st year as King of Babylon: But when returning to Jerusalem he first had to fight Pharaoh-necho, King of Egypt, in Carchemish who was helping Jehoiakim. This occurred in Jehoiakim's 6th year as King of Judah and 4th year of serving Nebuchadnezzar. |
However, in Jehoiakim's third year (3501), Jehoiakim rebelled and had joined with Pharaoh-necho. So when Nebuchadnezzar returned as King of Babylon he came against Jerusalem in earnest after defeating Pharaoh-necho (II Kings 24:1-4). Thus, the first year of the 2520 years would be 3502 from Creation (i.e. 3501 plus 2520 years equals 6021 from Creation). And, again, the close of 6021 from Creation marks the completion of the 35 years of severe tribulations now in progress. Therefore, when this period ends, the seven times (The 35 Years of Severe Tribulations, i.e. five periods of seven) will have passed over. This, of course, will be followed by the glorious Solemn Assembly for the Firstfruits (Zephaniah 3:18; Matthew 24:29-31; Daniel 9:2,25).

360 Degrees Equals A Complete Cycle/Circle. A "Time" Can Represent: A Day, A Week, A Year, 7 Years, 360 Years, A Millennia, Etc. |
Examining The Seven Times: Now for the more detailed matters. This brief 35 year period is not an extensive Time Bridge but sheds light on the seven times of Daniel.
"... till seven times pass over him."
Daniel 4:16,23,25,32
Daniel 4 reiterates the aforecited phrase four times but Leviticus 26:14-33 refers to five distinct "seven times" and although Revelation 6:1 thru 16:21 refers to the same 35 years, it speaks of only four groups: the Seven Seals, the Seven Trumpets, the Seven Thunders, and the Seven Plagues. Each item, of course, goes to the end of the year 6021 from Creation. And the first of the Seven Seals commenced 14 years before the first Trumpet sounded.
Therefore, why does Daniel 4 stress "... til seven times pass over him" only four times? Why not five times? Revelation 6:1 thru 16:21 clearly encompasses the entire 35 years (5 times 7) of Leviticus 26:14-33. But Daniel 4 clearly stops short.
Daniel 4:29 speaks of: "At the end of twelve months (lunations - John Strong's Hebrew Lexicon #3393/3391) he (Nebuchadnezzar) walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon." Daniel 4 continues:
"The King (Nebuchadnezzar, Satan), spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon (refering to the powers over the Sixth Kingdom), that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?"While the word was in the King's mouth, there fell a voice from Heaven, saying, O King Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The Kingdom is departed from thee (meaning the Sixth Kingdom is kaput!)."
Daniel 4:30-31
Events that transpired in the Spring of 1985 constituted GOD'S Holy Ark being taken prisoner by the forces occupying Palestine (See Scam 5). Zechariah explained that the house of the thief would be destroyed (Zechariah 5:4; Isaiah 48:1-8; Genesis 49:1,10; Hosea 5:10; Jeremiah 17:1-4; 24:8-10; II Kings 17:19). Therefore, beginning in the Spring of 1985, the powers of GOD have been withdrawn from the throne over the Sixth Kingdom and given unto a new throne, a dual group, described as reigning over the Seventh Kingdom (Revelation 13:11; 17:10-11; Daniel 4:32-33). This is the interval when Satan will be cast out (Revelation 12:7-9; Isaiah 14:9; Ezekiel 31:16; 32:7-8; Leviticus 16:7-10,15-22). It is also the period when the world throne is ensconced within the two families, the two witnesses, the Christians and Moslems.
Then, when Satan is cast down, Satan comes to this unrighteous world as the false Messiah who seduces even one-third of the Congregation with his praising GOD, etc. (Daniel 4:34-37; Revelation 12:4). As Cyrus (Darius the Persian) he builds a Temple in the bloody city of Jerusalem but won't finish it until long after the door to Salvation has closed (Isaiah 44:28; 45:1-5; etc.). Thus, the Eighth Kingdom of the North, the Tares, will be well established complete with Satan as ruler well before the Seven Plagues begin.
Therefore, Daniel 4:16,23,25,32 speaks only of four intervals of seven times as the vail will be lifted from all when the last, the fifth, seven times begin, i.e. after Daniel's 62nd year (Isaiah 25:7-8; Daniel 9:2,26). Again, note the sequence of events: When Satan is cast down on Atonement Year, he comes as the false Messiah to reign over the Tares. This occurs before the Seven Plagues begin.
