In honor of letter E... an Egg Drop

We presented a Mission to our homeschool group:  Create some kind of contraption you can place an egg in and drop to the ground without the egg breaking.  They dropped their eggs from a height of approx. 6-10ft.  Everyone had a lot of fun, and there were some very creative devices!

Natalie (4 at the time) used some basic concepts in her design - a cushioned area for her egg to lay in (like a bird nest), and a rubberband restraint (like a seatbelt in a car), along with a lid to hold it all into place.  Her egg survived many successful drops!
