Established in July 1921, Gracewood is a 24-hour residential facility, located near Augusta, GA. Gracewood is an integral component of the State of Georgia's service delivery system, which porvides comprehensive habilitation, health, educational and vocational services for developmentally desabled citizens. Through commitment, caring and professional competence Gracewood provides consumer responsive, state of the art training and services to its clietns, thereby empowering them to be all they can be. Gracewood works cooperatively with families, community programs and
other state facitlies to serve mentally retarded people from a 47-county
geographic region extending to Northesast, Seatheast and East Central Georgia.
