Will of John Finer (1788-1865)
This is the will and testament of me John Finer of Little Bentley in the County of Essex I nominate and appoint Mr. Henry ffiner of Great Clacton in the said County of Essex Grocer and Draperand Mr. John Page of Little Bentley aforesaid Farmer Executors and Trustees of this my Will I direct them to pay my funeral expenses after my decease I hereby equally divide all my (co--) and personal property unto my ten children at the time of my decease being the sum of sixty pounds cash as herein named Susannah Page Maria Witting Joseph ffiner George ffiner Sarah Loveday Charles ffiner William ffiner ffrederick ffiner Henry ffiner and Thomas ffiner and any (-apertances) that I may have of any property whatever I wish to have equally divided between the aforesaid children Signed by the said Testator as his last Will ans Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presenca of each otherhave subscribed our names as witnesses in witness of Iwhereof I havehereunto set my hand this the eleventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty five-

I James Mayer of Little Bentley in the County off Essex (-hocinaer) make oath and say that I am one of the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and Testament of the said John ffiner late of Little Bentley aforesaidGentleman deceased the said Will being now hereunto Annexed bearing date the eleventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty five and that the said Testator executed the said Will on the day of the date thereof by signing his name at the foot or end thereof as the same now appears (there---) in the presence of me and of John Bates the other subscibed Witness and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said Testator James Mayer Sworn at Colchester in the County of Essex on the Twelfth day of August 1865 before one M. Howard a Commissioner to administer (------) Chancery in England.
Proved at London 26th August 1865 by the oaths of Henry ffiner the son and John Page the Executor to whom Admon was granted.
ON the 26th day of August 1865 the Will of John Finer late of the Parish of Little Bentley in the County of Essex Gentleman deceased, who died on the 12th day of February 1865 at Little Bentley aforesaid was proved in the Principal Registry of Her Majesty's Court of Probate by the oaths of Henry Finer of Great Clacton in the said County Grocer and Draper the Son and John Page of Little Bentley aforesaid Farmer the Executors named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to administer
