Will of William Finer ( 1758 -1842 )

 

The Last Will and Testament of Mr. William Finer of No.11 Saville Row Mile End Road in the parish of Stepney near London my wish is that all my household furniture with plate watches e' at No.11 Savile Row be sold by auction and the proceeds with whatever money I may have in the house or whatever I may have in the funds at the time of my decease be disposed of as follows viz. I give five pounds to my son Jas. Finer of Wormwood Street. to my sister Deborah Finer of Tendring five pounds for mourning and I also give to my son John the sum of ten pounds for the trouble he may have as my Executor that residue after first paying my funeral expenses and my just debts to be equally devided between my four other children namely William Finer of Kingsland Road, John Finer Harley Place Bow Road Susan Heap Brighton and Esther Smith Thames Street and in furtherance of these my last wishes I hereby appoint my son John Finer to act as my executor Signed this twelfth day of ffebruary one thousand eight hundred and forty one

In the goods of William Finer deceased ... On the eleventh day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty two --

 

On Which day appeared personally Elizabeth Wilkinson of No. 4 Johns Place Webber Street Blackfriars Road in the county of Surrey widow and made oath that is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament of William Finer late of 11 Savile Road Mile End Road in the parish of Saint Dunstain Stepney in the county of Middlesex Gentleman deceased the said will bearing date the twelfth day of ffeburary one thousand eight hundred and forty one now hereunto executed and that further under oath that on the day aforesaid the said Executor duly executed the said will by signing his name at the foot or and thereof in the presence of this ( depon---) and of Paul Balmic the other subscribed witness thereunto both of whom were present at the same time this ( depon---) and the said Paul Balmic thereupon attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said Executor - ElizabethWilkinson same day the said Elizabeth Wilkinson was duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit before me Robert j Phillimore Sure.-Pres't J W Aumand Notr Pub

 

Proved at London 24th June 1842 before the worshipful RobertJoseph Phillimore Sr.of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of John ffiner the sole Executor to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer
