Medical Documentation (Nov 93 - Jun 94)
Pen Based Medical Network has developed a Windows based Doctor's Charting system,
designed to make Doctors, Hospitals, and Clinics paper free for patient charts. Charting
supports text, hand writing, EKGs, MRIs, X-Rays, photographs, dictation, in a Windows NT
network environment accessed by Doctors, nurses, and patients using wireless portable lap
tops. Mr. Wilkins was responsible for developing Visual Basic forms and
questionnaires utilizing SQL, MS & Q+A ODBC, MS Access and dBase IV
files. Here is a list of some of the forms Mr. Wilkins developed in 1994:
Oncology Flow Sheet: (Jun 94) This grid based form, 60 rows deep, enable Oncology
Doctors to save and display simultaneously up to ten dates of patient testing and
diagnosis. Developed for Medical Oncology, Atlanta.
Childhood Immunization: (May 94) This 3 screened form enabled storage of child
vaccine immunization dates. Developed for Prudential HMO.
Patient Questionnaire: (April 94) This 3 screened form enable patients to answer patient medical history
questions, as well as the dates certain tests were last taken. Developed for Prudential
HMO.
Allergies: (Mar 94) This 1 screen form is a subset of the previous but
was developed to enable Nurses to edit patient medical test dates. Developed for
Prudential HMO. Second version produced Visual C++.
Nursing Assessment: (Feb 94) This 20 screen form was created to enable to
maintain patient assessments. Developed for Charter Hospital.
Home Health Care: (Jan 94) Enables answering questions concerning patient
care. Developed for Kaiser.

Medical National Standard Format
Electronic Billing: (Jun 94)
Creates Medicare transmission files from practice management system according in
Medicare's national standard electronic billing format.
Medphone: (Jun 94) A near Procomm Plus look-a-like, this communications
program enabled modem transmission of billing transmissions to all 37 Medicare regional
offices nation wide. The program supported all major protocols including ASCII, XMODEM,
YMODEM, ZMODEM, and Kermit utilizing the Telepathy communications library.
Practice Management Data Purge: (May
94) This program enabled users
by many user defined parameters to purge or restore data to the company's commercial
practice management system.
