As previously mentioned the businesses are run by Husband & Wife namely Hitesh (harry) & Smita (situ) Patel. Hitesh Patel Born in Uganda, came to UK in 1972. Attended Alperton High School between 1993-1995, left to start an apprenticeship with Radiomobile based on North Circular Road in North London (part of Smith's Group), Studied City & Guilds Radio, TV & Electronic course at Willesden Technology College. Progressed to HND in Digital Techniques. In 1980 changed company to Mediatech, started as an technician, my position raised to acting manager prior to leaving the company to attend Polytechnic of Centre London to attend business course. In Nov 1983 bought our first retail shop on Isle of Sheppey (Eastchurch) selling mainly groceries. In 1986 we moved to Chatteris and opened our second business which has grown from a small shop to group of companies. Currently holding Financial Planning Certificate 1,2 & 3, Mortgage Code Certificate, Member of BOSS federation. In 1981 Got married to Smita, born in India, came to UK in 1981. Educated to BA in Economics, has worked as a punch operator in India. In UK apart from looking after two sons has runs and manages the Chatteris Off-Licence. |
