Right side: Blood on the right side is coming from the body. The blood on this side is poor with oxygen because it has given its oxygen to the body cells. The muscles in the right side are much weaker than the left because they don't have to pump as hard.
Left side: Blood on the left side is going out to the body. This blood is rich with oxygen because it has just traveled through the lungs. The muscles on this side are much stronger than the right side because the left side has to pump the blood all the way through the body.
