Red blood cells: Red blood cells make up almost all of your blood. They carry oxygen to all the cells in your body, and take away wastes and carbon dioxide.
White blood cells: White blood cells are like police officers in your body. They patrol around and stop infections.
Platelets: When you get a cut or scrape on your body, platelets are what stop your from loosing blood. Platelets go directly to the cut and cot it so that no blood escapes.
Plasma: Plasma cells are like red blood cells, except they carry nutrients to body cells instead of carrying oxygen.
