Setup:

  1. 4 players require 2 decks.
  2. 6 players require 3 decks.
  3. Each player puts 60 cents into the pot.
  4. Wild cards are deuces, and the number, which corresponds to the number of cards dealt that hand. For example:

                                                                                                                                       i.      1st hand is 3 cards …… 3’s are wild

                                                                                                                                     ii.      2nd hand is 4 cards ……4’s are wild

                                                                                                                                    iii.      12th hand is A’s ………A’s are wild

Scoring:

  1. Deuces……..20
  2. Aces………..20
  3. 10 – K………10
  4. 3 – 9…………Face value

 

Beginning play:

  1. First hand is started by dealing 3 cards to each player and one card is dealt face up on a discard pile.
  2. Each consecutive hand increases the number of cards dealt by 1, for example: second hand is 4 cards, third hand is 5 cards, etc. You do this for 12 hands.
  3. The player to the dealers left than draws a card from either the discard pile or from the top of the remaining deck.
  4. This player than discards and play moves to the player on his/her left.
  5. This continues until one person goes down using all the cards in his hand (cannot have a discard).
  6. Each player after this may than make any plays using sets of three or runs of four in his/her hand and discarding any cards that will play on the person who went out. This player than may discard one card (not required) and counts the points in his/her hand according to scoring above.
  7. The player going out on each hand receives 10 cents from the pot.
  8. Play continues until a player goes out on the last hand and receives his/her 10 cents. Each player’s score is added up and the person with the lowest score gets the pot.

 

Rules:

  1. A set consists of 3 cards of the same value, i.e.: 3 threes, 3 aces, etc.
  2. A run consists of 4 consecutive cards in the same suit i.e.: 3,4,5,6 of hearts.
  3. Player who goes out may not have a discard.
  4. After making plays from your hand, you may only play on the person who went out.
