Operation IRAQI Freedom has been in progress for some time now. To honor the men and women who are now in the Persian Gulf region, we at World War II Stories -- In Their Own words are paying tribute to some of our bravest men and women by adding this Tribute Page to our web site.

Each soldier pictured below is currently serving and risking his or her life.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We wish them all a safe return.
