What is the first reference of baptism of people?
Have students, in groups, decide what is the first reference of baptism of people in Bible. Using Group Sword drill, look up 1 Corinthians 10:2. Answer – the crossing of the Red Sea.
What Religion was John the Baptist?
Use COA and ask the question, “Was Christianity the first religion to use baptism?” Before answering do another COA. This time ask, “What religion was John the Baptist?” Answers are No and Jewish. Many religions use baptism and John was Jewish doing baptism.
Why be baptized?
Ask the question, “Why be baptized?” Students, in groups, will try to answer the question. Do a group sword drill for Matthew 28:19. We do it out of obedience.
Why did Jesus get baptized?
Do Group Sword Drill. Exodus 29:4. Before ministering, priests and the High Priest had to wash. Also, God showed Himself as a Trinity at Jesus’ baptism. (Jesus was baptized, the Holy Sprit came as a dove and God the Father spoke. Do Group Sword Drill Matthew 3:16

During the Former Soviet Union, if a person was baptized, they were discharged from the communist party and persecuted.
It is an ordinance.
Explain ordinances as a rule to follow. Refer back to Matthew 28:19 about how we are to make disciples of all.
Invitation for Salvation and Romans Road card sorting.
Review the Plan of Salvation. Talk to any student who wants Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
In groups, the students will be given a set of Romans Road cards. Then the students will place the cards into the correct order. Note - The order listed is only one way of listing the verses, let the students justify their position.
Review the Roman's Road to Salvation and present an invitation to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
