  • Mordecai didn’t bow to Haman (Esther 3:2) Do a COA[2] “Was Mordecai wrong to not bow to Haman?” Answer, No, as a Jew, he was required to bow to God, not to man and as a Jew, he was not required to bow.
  • Haman decided to kill all the Jews and (Esther 3:6) and convince the king to support him. (Esther 3:11)
  • Morcecai asks Esther to see the king (Esther 4:8), but Esther initially refuses because the law of the land is that anyone who comes to the king without being called faces death if the king doesn’t hold out the scepter (Esther 4:11)
  • Morcecai convinces Esther to see the king (Esther 4:14)
  • Esther sees the king and is spared, (Esther 5:1) and she invites the king and Haman to a banquet (Esther 5:7)
  • The king and Haman goes to the banquet and Esther reveals that Haman’s plot would kill her (Esther 7:3-6)
