Daily English mass at the Crypt. Call the Info Centre for English masses at other locations.

Getting to Lourdes from Paris is simple.

Take the TGV (fast train 5 hrs) from Paris Monparsasse Stn or

the Main Line train (overnight sleeper with bunk 8hrs) from Paris Austerlitz Stn to Lourdes.

Return train fare is about 135 euros.

For those with minimum time in Paris - take the sleeper train arriving in Lourdes at 0710.

Leave Lourdes by the TGV at about 1700 arriving Paris at 2330.

Masses only during the pilgrimage season from April to November.

For English masses outside this season see the Crypt.

The underground Basilica can sit 27,000 people.

During the Pilgrimage Season the International Mass will be celebrated each Sunday and Wednesday at 9.30am in the Underground Basilica of St. Pius X with the following exceptions:

International Mass on Thursday 29th. May (Feast of the Ascension of the Lord) No International Mass on Wednesday 28th. May.

International Mass on Tuesday 24th. June(Nativity of St. John the Baptist). No International Mass on 25th June.

EXtra International Mass on Friday 15th. August (the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary).
