June 19: 25th Annual Madam Lou Bunch Day celebration. The biggest and brightest ever including a parade of Madams, Dandy Dans, and Sportinghouse Girls, street dancing, live music, and the FAMED MAIN STREET BED RACES (a timed event!). Outstanding photo opportunity!
July 2-4: Annual FreedomFest celebration: Colorado’s best FREE 3-day outdoor festival featuring great food booths, arts and crafts booths, and live musical entertainment by regional and national groups.
July 18: Biker's Bash. Incredible Main Street display of over 500 custom Harley Davidson bikes and all makes and models of bikes participating this year. Bikers participate in a charity poker run with fabulous prizes for top 25 winning hands. Live music.
August 6, 7, 8: SummerFest Music Festival, another excellent 3-day FREE Main Street concert and street fair, with street dancing, delectable foods including barbecued turkey legs, grilled corn, funnel cakes, and artisan booths.
September 12: Main Street Corvette Show Central City will be filled with over 100 of Colorado’s finest corvettes from 1954 through 1999 models. People’s Choice trophies awarded. Come vote for your favorite car! Poker run with great prizes including hotel stays, casino jackets, free dinners-for-two and much more.
September 19: Central City Car Show. Displaying over 140 of this regions finest vintage cars. All makes and models imaginable. Outstanding exhibition. Car owners participate in a poker run. Best of Show awards and trophies.
