The  year 2000 problem(a.k.a. Y2K) could be the most dangerous disaster
mankind has ever faced. We are still five months away for the new millennium and not
everyone has ever heard about the topic. Are we prepared?

                                                 It's 23:59:59 on December 31, 1999
When the clock ticks one more second
most computers will start to crash
and we are in some panic...

2K         Decades ago, computer programmers decided not to use the century digits
before the last two digits of the year. It saved a valuable, expensive and memory space
all the way back then. For example, 1984 becomes "84", or 1999 becomes "99". If the
calendar rolls over to the new century, 2000 will become "00", but only interpreting
as 1900, leaving computer chaos all over the world.

As stated, the worst-case predictions will probably come true if those computer
         programmers won't solve the problem.

Many people think it will be the end of the world

Some say that the Y2K problem will be proven false because
news reports are currently discussing the issue and therefore will
not happen because they have been thinking that some of the
                                computers are year 2000 compliant.

Or maybe Y2K is considered a joke.

There are worst-case scenarios from Gary North, a Y2K expert. It
contains more information about what would happen if the computers
shut down and what will happen to our lifestyles. He said at the end of
the article, "I'm not a programmer. My Ph.D is in history. I take the
historians view, things that are interconnected  with ways we can barely
understand. This is the link in which everybody must read! Click on the

1/1/2000, (or make it 1/1/00). Click on the moving fire to take you there.
