Jade sighed while gently banging her head on the stirring wheel.

"fuck"she mummbled.

It had been two hours since that horrific experience at the building.

She remembered stumbling out of the doors and running to her car.

And now here she was,on an old abandond road outside of town.

"way to go Jade"she muttered bitterly.

"what a I gunna do"she whined while banging her head on the stirring wheel again.

KNOCK KNOCK

Jade looked up startled.

"oh shit"her mind scramed seeing Nick starring at her,his eyes pleading with her to open the door.

She sighed loudly while unlocking the door.

Nick quicky climbed in and shut the door behind here.

"what are you doing here"she asked her voice cracking.

Nick gave her a worried look.

"all the guys are looking for you,since I knew this is the place where you come to think I..."

Jade looked up,tears cascading down her redden cheecks.

"Nick if I tell you something,promise not to tell anybody,including Howie?"

Nick gave her an alarmed look.

"you're not pregnant are you?Dont tell me you're moving?Are you being deported?Oh god Jaddy,are you cheating on Howie?"

Jade rolled her eyes as she let him finish.

"no Nick,its really serious"

Nick shut his mouth an looked at her.

Jade sighed"now or never"she thought to herself.

"Nick,you're one of my best friends,I know I can trust you,the other day I..I"

Nick shook his head slightly,he had never seen Jade act like this"

"its ok Jade,you can tell me anything"

Jade took a deep breath.

"Nick,I saw a doctor about 3 weeks ago,Nick he..he said that I have breast cancer"she finished in almost a whispered,she wished now that Nick had not heard.

Unfortunatly for Jade,he did.

Nick sat there stif as a board.He was just shocked wordless.

JADE?His best firend Jaddy?Breast cancer?

Nick shook his head,trying not to beive it,it couldnt be possible,right?

"Jaddy,did you say breast cancer?"

Jade noded sadly.

"oh come here"Nick said pulling her into a hug.

"dont wory Jaddy,I wont tell"he whispered.

After letting Jade sob into his shoulder,Nick had had enough.

"come on Jaddy"he said opening the car door.

Jade looked up"huh?"

Nick looked at her "Jade please hand me the keys to your car"

Jade gave him a curious look "why"

Nick sighed"listen Jade,Howie needs a reason why you left like that,I know you care about him enough to give him that"

Jade nodded while handing over the keys and scooting over to the passangers side seat.

Seconds later,Nick opened the driver's door and got in.

"I know you care about him enough to give him that"those words rang through Jade's ears as Nick turned the ignition.
