Welcome to the Chicago 2004 Gathering's website!

Do you want to meet others with the same interest while enjoying a weekend in Chicago?

On this site we will provide you with information regarding our gathering scheduled for April 23-25, 2004.

The Windy City 56'ers along with other Illinois clubs are planning a fun-filled weekend just for you!

There will be :

A Dickens' 20th Anniversary social event
display contest
bingo
marketplace
charity auction
raffles
room hopping.

Join the fun Friday night at a themed party with food and entertainment and a "Crazy Hat Contest".

Saturday's Banquet with entertainment by "Route 66" will be followed by a live charity auction with proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. For your convenience we will be able to accept credit cards, checks or cash for purchases made at the auction.

Sunday we'll say good-bye with a farewell breakfast featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus.

We have also arranged for UPS Shipping to be available for you to use if you wish to ship any packages home.

For those arriving early or staying on afterwards to visit Chicagoland, we have compiled a list of attractions in the area.

The Holiday Inn Chicago-O'Hare Intl. will be our Host Hotel. The entire hotel has been reserved for the Gathering.

Parking is reduced to $6.00 a day

The rate is good from April 18th through May 1, 2004 .

You may also use the Holiday Inn reservation system at 1-800-Holiday or you can book online. Be sure to use the code "WIN" to get the Gathering rate.

The hotel is located just 1.5 miles from O'Hare International Airport. There's easy access to downtown Chicago via taxi or the Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line trains. If you are flying into the airport, the Holiday Inn O'Hare provides complimentary transportation daily.
