child-43 APPLES TO CARBURETORS "The Exploitation of Cartoons" (CASSETTE) Offensive and politically incorrect conversations coupled with pieces of Bloodfist V. A rough and tumble afternoon, raw and on ice. Steve James would approve.

child-44 MOON RIVER TRUSTFUND "Black Tequila in the Land of Sand" (CASSETTE) Call in minimalist grindcore, noisy black-jaw jams or maybe even the screams of the sandblasted wild. In any case its raw and features two vocalists (one a strange opera type..the other very manic); primitive drumming and guitar noise. Recorded in 1995 at the
infamous Venus Dept.

child-45 RAKARAKA "Barbar" (CASSETTE) Drone drainage noise created by a head full of nonsense. Deep Deeep Deeeep. Abstract to the extreme, this should please fans of simplistic noyze.

child-46 DEAD LOCOMOTIVE "Leave No Tracks" (CASSETTE) Warped beats..dark chill-out music for hobo ghosts. A cross between ICE and DJ MOOKAPOOK. So light up those clove cigarettes and space out.

child-47 EKK EKKO "Interstate of Love" (CASSETTE) Guitar noise by Akwan O'Neil...all inspired by life's one great pleasure: love. This would be a great ice-breaker for any first date. Twangy noisy wankery.

child-48 DJ SUPERCHANG "Invincible Armour: 1995-96" (CASSETTE) Indispensible collection of rare early club material. Minimalistic noisy loops and beats for the strict kung-fu dance floor. Raw and kickin'.

child-54 DJ SUPERCHANG "Agave Ce Produit: 1997-98" (CASSETTE) Just the sort of thing to get a party started. Some good old fashioned beats and sounds. Good collection of DJ Superchang's later works. Better produced than the collection of his earlier material.

child-55 BAD DRUG LATRINE "After Eight" (CASSETTE) Newly unearthed material from this classic fake pseudo faux-rock band. Contains two seperate sessions. One is noisy material with guitar noise and persussion. The other is slow and dark loathing expressed through guitar, percussion and monotone vocals. Like a really depressing and pathetic journey into a world of film noir. Full of criminal themes such as homicide at the workplace, suicide, addiction and lost hope (and lots jobs). Why this is on Childish, I don't know...but its surely entertaining. Recorded (in mono) around 1995.

child-56 THOMAS LATCH "Liberals love a Baath" (CASSETTE) Spoken word from a native of rural Pennsylvania. Certain to piss people off from all political sides. Thomas is outspoken and makes no apologies for his honesty. Unlikes most involved in any music scene, he does not subscribe to one mode of thinking when it comes to the issues of the day. No blind dedication to some pointless cause (like the elusive "world peace"), no trendy bandwagon politics. He is also involved in experimental music which will see the light of day sometime in the near future (hopefully on Childish). Be on the look-out because Thomas is currently working on his next spoken word release which we are told will be titled "The Lovecraftian Horror of Big Business". Should be thought-provoking for sure. COMING SOON.

child-36 CAPTAIN PATCHOGUE AND THE CAPES "A Night on the Town" (CDR) The Captain and company's soulful and toe-taping songs that will be sung for generations to come. It's still kinda creepy, though.

child-37 THE COLLECTION DIVISION "Unknown Pressures" (CDR) Absurd singing, ritualistic drone, ballads, cut-ups and nonsense. Everyone should own this. This release also features the return of Mr.Racki himself. Without a doubt, everyone should own this album.

child-38 CHARLES WHITLEY "Conversations and Lectures, Volume 1" (CDR) Childish had a chance to sit down and talk with this controversial Englishman. He took a break from the lecture circuit to chat with us about the war with Iraq, welfare, punk music, films, his personal life and more. Included are some of his lectures on such topics as the microwave oven/cell-phone connection and surviving in the wilderness by eating insects. Also on this disc are hilarious outtakes from the interview. His intelligence and sense of humor do shine through on these recordings. I can say that it was a definite joy to sit and converse with this eccentric old man. Keep in mind that the quality of the recordings is not that great...but it is still well worth it to hear this man speak.

child-41 EUNUCH "Eunuch goes to Hollywood" (C-60) This great release just goes to show that you can't keep a good eunuch down. Sixty minutes of collages only using one song. Can you guess which one? Relax, it'll come to you.
