IN DEPTH LOOK at why Yang/Lu villages fared Poorly, compared with Mae Mong Ho village:
Family Support Factor:
Lu village and Yang village are adjacent to one another, where as Mae Mong Ho village is just 3 km away, however there outcome were very different. Mae Mong Ho had 2 failures out of 8, whereas, Yang & Lu village had a combined 8 failures out of 9. As the chart shows, the proportion of those with good family support is rather similar among all the villages. i.e. family support, or the lack of it, is not responsible for Yang & Lu villages' poor outcome.
