One particular specialist area is Hechinger Quartz Clock Movements where we are a recognised online expert. In recent years it has become increasingly difficult to buy Alternating Current Electricity Mains driven clock movements. Timetips has two such movements for sale that are at present only suitable for the UK market. What many customers do not realise is that these movements are really just an electric motor connected to a gear to a gear train that derive their timekeeping from the mains frequency, which in the UK is rigorously maintained at 50 cycles a second or Hertz. These units also need a supply voltage of 230 volts (r.m.s) root mean square. What this means in reality is that these units are unsuitable for use outside of the UK. However, Timetips is looking to overcome this obstacle and is at present developing a means of allowing these units to be used in other countries with different supply voltages and frequencies, such as the USA and Canada. To this end we are not just a sales organisation but are technically competent and accredited experts in our chosen field.

To cater for all customer needs we also stock and supply to anywhere in the world a large range of watch straps and bracelets that encompass virtually any eventuality under the brand name of Tompion. This is quality wristwear that covers everything from divers resin straps, ladies leather cordette cocktail straps, nylon, extra long, military, covered dial, straps in large range of lug sizes (case end). Clock makes we can supply are the superb Wempe Chronometers that have a very nautical feel and cater for the seafaring community with a very comprehensive range of models. Other makes are Rapport of London, including their excellent and world leading watch winders and watch display cases. Hubert Herr Cuckoo clocks form the Black Forest area of Germany. We even have  page that displays some of the huge Turret Clocks available from the Perrot company in Germany. These clock can be as simple as an external house clock to a large building clock that you would see in say a shopping mall or company headquarters.

Timetips Light Emitting Diode Binary Clocks

Timetips is constantly studying the market place for new and innovative products and is also in the process of bringing its own exclusive range of Binary Clocks online for sale. These clocks are at present in development and we hope to have the first clocks for sale in 2010. These will be true Binary Clocks using LED technology, not Binary Code Decimal types like most of the ones you see online. We will be launching several models once have worked out all of the technical details and tested the prototypes. For those customers who have some technical appreciation these Binary Clocks will be based on (PIC) Peripheral Interface Controller technologies.

Jewellery

Jewellery being so competitive online we tend to stick with the findings customers require. Items such as the butterfly fittings that tend to get lost, safety chains and watch albert fobs and T bars. All of the fitments that tend to break that need a replacement. We can of course supply some finished jewellery, such as necklet chains and even wedding rings and welcome customer enquiries.
