The SECRET to friendship : The less you try to impress the people around you, the more friends you will attract. I find people are too worried about what other people think about them, how they should act, etc. People should accept you for the person you are, and if they don't like the package they get, then I guess they're not worth the time. Everyone judges each other at a glance. That's WRONG. We never take the time to look inside a person. Its all looks and image. Its never about the true identity of someone anymore. It makes me sick and I shake my head at all the poor souls who are so narrowminded. Everyday, I learn something and today I finally figured out a good way to describe people nowadays - The mind is like a dark tunnel (I got the idea of a tunnel from *Stir of Echoes*) with a flashlight representing how open minded one can be. People who are ignorant, self-centered, narrow-minded, one-sided, etc... have a dim flashlight showing them the way out of the dark tunnel. With that flashlight, they can't see much, and get lost in the maze of dark pathways. They bump into walls and get pissed off as their light grows even weaker. This just continues and as the anger builds up inside, it creates more ignorance. They'll never find their way out.

On the other hand, people who are open, more respectful, have a bright light shining through the tunnel. They move around, navigating easily and aren't pissed off all the time. These people have it good and they will be able to lead others to the exit of that dark tunnel.

Well that was probably a pretty lame way to explain things but you get the idea..right?
