The Truth About FFA (Free For All) Links Pages:
It seems like everybody has an FFA page on their web-site. You might wonder if it does any good to post to all these pages. The truth is that you are likely to get less than a .05 return ratio. And that doesn't even mean the person responding will purchase your product or service. It just means they were curious enough to check out your site.
To get a really good response, you have to have a teaser in your title that stimulates enough interest for them to click on the link to your site. Not impossible, but also not real likely. So, then, what good is an FFA page?
An FFA page is really good - but only for those who are marketing a product or service. The reason being is that because every time someone submits a link to your FFA page, they get a thank you note from you. In this thank you note, you can also offer them a chance to take advantage of what you have to offer. As the thank you is handled through an auto-responder, you only have to write the note once.
But, to get an FFA page, you normally have to have one of two things: money or access to a CGI-Bin. Most free hosts, do not offer CGI access unless you pay for it. Then, oftentimes, you have to know how to write the script. So, the biggest question is this: Is there a place where you can get an FFA page without having to have CGI access or money?
The answer, of course, is- yes! Now, this place will want you to upgrade for a mere $12.95 per month, but you don't have to, at first. And you get to keep the FFA page regardless. Where? Just go to FFA Net.
Now, don't go getting all excited. Remember what I told you last week: "Just because you build it, does not necessarily mean they will come." That's what we will cover next.
Where To Advertise Your FFA Page For Free:
Once you have your FFA page in place, people still need to know where it is. You could try posting it in the thousands of other FFA pages, but then your link would fall off in a few days. Furthermore, you would have the problem of once again trying to get your FFA page noticed.
But, there are places out there that will list your FFA link permanently. And once again, I offer you a place to go and get them. Just go to my Business Opportunities Page and about midway down the page, you will find the listings. Now, if you have your own web-site, you can return the favor (remember what I said last week about reciprocity) and offer a link back to their page.
Of course, if you ever do get CGI access, you would then be able to take advantage of places that offer your link along with up to thousands of others simultaneously. The people would then get your thank you message along with thousands of others. But, we will not cover that in this issue. Perhaps in the near future.
The thing to remember is this: Don't expect this to be the "be-all/end-all" of your new journey into Complete Freedom. Response might still be small, but it will be better than what you had before. All new ventures grow slowly. But, then, I never promised you a rose garden. I told you that freedom has to be earned. But, together with some effort, we can all make it to the top.

HOW TO MAKE BIG MONEY SELLING SIMPLE INFORMATIONAL REPORTS
The all-time best selling product in the mail order industry is the simple two to three page "How To Succeed" reports such as this one. Most of the time these reports are priced at $2 each and offered as series or packages of reports.
Generally speaking, you don't have to have a fancy-paper or 4-color circular to sell them. In many instances, the titles available are listed along with a coupon the buyer clips off the bottom of the sheet and sends in along with his or her payment. The mail order entrepreneur promoting these reports, send out a mailing such as a full page circular selling a particular book, and then along with the full page circular, he includes this other sheet listing the titles of "other materials" he has available. The uninitiated will be absolutely astounded at the number of orders for these "other materials" that come in. As a matter of fact, I can verify a particular mailing of just 1,000 letters in which a $20 book was offered as the primary offer with an extra sheet listing 100 two dollar reports; and from this mailing, I took in $600 for the primary product and $4,525 from orders for the "other materials."
The only real drawback to making the really big money selling these reports is simply knowing what it is the people are hankering to buy. Then of course, there's the problem of finding out who these people hankering to buy these reports are, and where they live...
Everybody want to be a big-time author - become rich and famous from something they've written and sold - but not everyone know how to write "commercially", and more importantly, ever fewer people know how to properly "market" what they've written.
For the uninitiated, it's all in the title. If your title appeals to the would be buyer with a solution to his or her problem, you're basically on your way. Look at it this way: If you can tell someone how to make $10 for every $1 invested, you've got a "money-tree" of your own!
Getting organized - writing, promoting and/or advertising, and coming up with new titles every 3 months - is a lot of work. A lot of people don't want to spend all their spare time with the basic details - they want in the main stream where the money is with the least amount of work.
With this in mind, we supply many of the mail order dealers who're making real money, with already written reports and advertising sheets with which to sell them. We also supply most of the well known, and some of the not-so-well known mail order catalog houses with reports and "how-to" manuals they feature in their catalogs.
Generally what we do is research the how-to information and then write a new series of reports every three months or so; and then offer these new reports 10, 25, 50 or a hundred at a time - complete with reproduction rights - to these mail order dealers and catalog houses. In other words, we do the writing and they do the promoting and selling. We're what you'll probably recognize as research writers and publishers on a wholesale basis to independent mail order operators and large catalog houses.
We sold the reproduction rights to one of our how-to manuals to a catalog house not too long ago for $1,000 and they in turn have sold more than $10,000 worth of that particular manual... And we sold the reproduction rights to about 50 of our reports for another thousand dollars... But then, we have been free to go on researching and writing new materials, and as a result have made about five times as much money - less the frustration and advertising expense - with new titles.
At the bottom line, it's simply a matter of knowing what you enjoy doing most, and then concentrating your efforts on that phase of your endeavors. In other words, if you can write easily, but don't like to mess with the selling end of it, then write and let other people do the selling for you. If you can't write so easily, but can really sell up a storm, then buy the reprint rights and concentrate your attention on the selling end.
The Highest Profit Ratio Ever
If you think about what is the lowest cost investment with the highest return, the answer is simply this: Information. And I don't care what the subject is: How to Earn More Money, How to Lose More Weight, or How to Free Yourself From Anxiety. Even if you don't know how to write, reports abound everywhere. This last report that you just read came from a program that I purchased for around $50. (That's why I offer it to anybody who doesn't want to learn how to write their own.) This program has over 500 reports on it, thus costing me roughly 10 cents per report.
Now, even if I were to sell one report singly for $1.00 apiece, even if you figured an extra "snail"mailing cost of 33 cents plus six cents to print it, it would only cost me 49 cents to distribute. I have over doubled my profit. That's why information is so cheap to obtain and distribute. But, because my cost was so low, I can take one or two reports a week and include them in my e-zine. Which makes this an added value to you when you receive a free subscription to my e-zine.
The only question is how you choose to distribute the information you purchase or receive. But, there is one other way to create information. And we will cover that in the Developing A Positive Attitude, right after you read our sponsors' messages.

Developing A Positive Attitude: Brainstorming
The biggest problem with our attitudes can often be traced back to how little we know about what we know. So, today, I'm going to give you a little exercise to show you how to know what you know.
I want you to pick a favorite hobby or an activity that relaxes you. I don't care if it's fishing, basket-weaving, reading, or
karaoke. Just pick one.
Now, on a piece of paper, I want you to draw a circle in the center of that page. In the center of the circle, put the name of the activity. Now, sit down and think about that activity. Every time that you come up with a new idea or something you know (or even something you don't know), draw a line away from the circle, make another circle at the end of that line, and put that new idea in there.
Do this repeatedly until you can't think of anything else or the circles start bumping into each other, making the page unreadable. It's okay to use shorthand or any symbols, as long as you know what they mean.
Another way of doing this is to take a blank piece of paper and write the topic down at the top of the paper. Then every time that you think of something, write it down. Once again, it doesn't matter if it's something you know or something you don't know about the topic. Write it down. If you can't think of anything, write down "I can't think of anything" until your mind frees up.
Now, go back and look at what you've written. If it's something you know, put that down on one half of a new piece of paper. If it's something you don't know, then put that down on the other half.
Now, you know what you know about your favorite subject and you know what you don't know. Now, you're ready to become an expert on that subject. How? Simple. Compile what you know into writable/readable fashion (you may have to edit, but that's part of the game.) What you don't know, either hop on the internet and find out, or go to your local library and study up on. If you really want to get in-depth, take courses on the subject. (However, I don't recommend this at first. I am trying to show you how to gain Complete Freedom as inexpensively as possible.)
Just by knowing that you have taken action, you will start to feel a little bit better about yourself. And you have once more taken a step towards Complete Freedom.
