| 250g Philadelphia Cream Cheese (not light) | |
| 1 tin of crab meat (John West or Trident) | |
| ½ onion very finely chopped or grated | |
| Lemon juice | |
| Tabasco sauce | |
| Bread crumbs with a pinch of mixed herbs, or stuffing mix Melted butter | |
| To serve with plain corn chips |
| Soften cheese in microwave to beat | |
| Add crab and some lemon juice (about 1/2 tsp) | |
| Add 1/2 onion very finely chopped or grated | |
| 2-3 drops of Tabasco sauce | |
| Spoon into oven proof dish | |
| Add melted butter to the breadcrumbs/stuffing crumbs and then spread on the top | |
| Bake in oven (180 degrees) for 15 mins till the top goes crisp and light golden. | |
| Warm plain corn chips in oven for a couple of minutes to serve with hot crab dip. |
