ignore me, i dont deserve attention,
throw me down in the wrong direction.
keep me pinned down, i cant move,
if i'm trapped, i cant tell the truth.
leave me here to rot and die,
reached my limit, was not the sky.
everything i owned was taken,
if you cant help me, no one can.
i'm ashamed to need your help,
no one can help me escape myself.
my path, blurred by tears in my eyes,
my pain, and theirs, needs to be recognized.
leave them in the fields dead,
their faces white, the fields now red.
kill them off, it's the easy way out,
then no one will know what you're really about.
