Descendants of William Jr. & Jane (Stanley) Mullins


8.   William Mullins Jr. b. ca 1751 Virginia - d. prior to 19 August 1840 Franklin County, Virginia, md Jane Stanley b. ca 1756 Virginia, d/o William & Judith Stanley.  Her name is listed as Nancy and Sarah in records which leaves the possibility that William Mullins Jr. was married twice.  William Mullins Jr. sold his brother John Mullins 70 acres of the 290 acre tract on the East Fork of Town Creek on Smith River that he had been sold by his father William Mullins Sr. on 24 June 1779.  William Mullins Jr. sold Thomas Hill 70 acres of the tract on Town Creek on 24 June 1779.  William Mullins Jr. assumed the title "Sr." after his father died.  He remained in Franklin County, Virginia where he died, but some of his children moved westward.   William and Jane are believed to have had the following known children:

33.    iv.      Mary Mullins b. ca 1770 Virginia md Richard Baker
34.    v.       William B.H. "Bald Head" Mullins b. ca 1784 Patrick County, Virginia - d. 25 May 1859 Pike County, KY md Judith Stanley
35.    vi.      Nehemiah Mullins b. ca 1782 Virginia md Elizabeth Doss
36.    vii.     Ollie Mullins b. ca 1784 Franklin County, Virginia - d. 11 Dec. 1871 Wise County, Virginia md Joseph Stanley
37.    viii.    Doria Mullins b. ca 1785 Virginia md James Martin
38.     ix.     Jesse Mullins b. ca 1786 Virginia md Judith Doss
39.     x.      Nancy Mullins b. ca 1786 Virginia md William Hill
