After his death, Mary "Polly" md Joshua Deel and moved to Prater on Greenbriar where she is buried. James Mullins came to Russell County, Virginia ca 1806 and he and Berry Robinson purchased 200 acres on Indian Creek, Bold Camp, and Pound Fork from Robert Preston on 5 April 1815. He later used horse-power and people of the Pound area would come from miles around for their meal. He operated the pound until 1837 when he sold it to William Roberson. He is prob. the James Mullins who was indicted along with Solomon, Peter, and Spencer Mullins for counterfeiting in 1837 in Russell County, Virginia.
