Descendants of Marshall & Sarah "Sallie" Potter Mullins
50. Marshall Mullins b. ca 1789 Virginia md 1) Sarah Little b. ca 1795 Virginia, daughter of Isaac Little, 19 Sept. 1811 Floyd County, Kentucky, 2) Sarah "Sallie" Potter b. ca 1810 North Carolina on 22 July 1849 Letcher County, Kentucky. Marshall Mullins had at least three children by Sarah Potter. They lived together for a number of years prior to their marriage. In 1829, Marshall Mullins & Sarah Potter; Jesse Adkins & Sarah (Mullins) Boney; Joseph Briant & Arti Mullins; Isaac Roberts & Dorcas Mullins; and Isham Mullins & Betsy Newsome were subpoenaed by the Pike County, Kentucky court to appear at the next court to show why their illegitimate children should not be bound out. Marshall lived near Horseshoe Bend on Cranesnest River then moved to the mouth of Brush Creek on Pound River in what became Dickenson County, Virginia. Marshall and Sarah Potter had the following children:
