The Country Gardeners

Everyone loves garden tours! The beautiful spring flowers, the daffodils, tulips and azaleas. But why are they always in the spring? Why can’t one go to a garden tour in the fall? Well, yes…… Now you can! The Country Gardeners of Elanco will be sponsoring a Fall Garden tour on Saturday, September 10 ….from 10 to 4 PM. Fall in Love with Gardening …will feature six local gardens with great ideas for gardening in the third season. Not just a lot of sunflowers and mums, the gardeners have stepped up to the challenge of displaying a different approach to autumnal gardening. Of course, sunflowers will be included, but other perennials and annuals will be put to the task of creating a new look with innovative combinations and under used, less known plants. Tropicals are featured in one garden, at their lush best from a fall summers growth. Another has a special Catio built for a cat rescue person’s passion. Still another takes a fruit trees to a new level for all the fresh Whole Foods aficionados. Come discover for yourself the joys of Fall gardening and “Fall in Love” all over again. For more info, please call 717-768-7676.
