An easy way to convert an inexpensive candle into a holiday decoration.

Parental supervision is recommended.

What You Need

• Paraffin wax
• Can
• Saucepan
• Water
• Access to a stove
• Hearts cut out of construction paper
• Large candle
• Ribbon
• Heart shaped confetti, optional

 How To Make It

1. Melt some paraffin inside a can placed in a pan of hot water (on the stove).
2. Paint the melted paraffin over construction paper hearts glued to a candle.
3. Tie appropriate ribbon around base of candle.
4. Variations: Use a Valentine cutout with an arrow going through it. Glue heart shaped confetti to candle. Add decorative ribbon.
