Let someone look into the window of your heart with
this card.
Pen a Valentine greeting around the square -- or leave it plain
and write special missives inside.
This messenger sports a square cut into the front and a
dainty heart held taut with gold thread.
What You Need:
- Card stock: tan with white flecks and red
- 1-inch square punch
- 7/8-inch-wide heart punch
- Needle
- gold thread
- Thick white crafts glue
Instructions:
- Fold an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2-inch tan card-stock rectangle
widthwise. Punch a square through the cover, 7/8 inch from the
center top edge.
- Punch a heart from red card stock. Poke small holes
into both sides of the heart and both sides of the square.
- Thread a needle with gold thread. From the back of the
square, pull the needle through the left hole then through the
left hole in the heart. Remove the needle, pull the thread taut,
and tie the ends into a knot on the inside of the card. Repeat
for the right side. Glue the knots, allow the glue to dry, and
trim the thread ends.
