Fort Erie Swap Meet. For info/directions call (905)994-7013

BRO in the Sarnia/Lambton region holds their annual start of the season Motorcycle Awareness Ride . This is a spring wake up call for all the dumb car drivers out there who forget we exist! The noise of a large group of bikes should snap 'em out of their comas. The folks at BRO (Bikers Rights Organization-for those who don't know) do a lot of good work on our behalf. Check their site out at BRO

Clare's in Fenwick has their Harley Demo Rides. For more info see their website on the "bikestuff" page.

Also in May the annual Dare to Dream ride all proceeds go to ovarian cancer research. This nasty disease often shows no symptoms until it is too late, funny lady Gilda Radner died of it. For pledge forms and more info check out the Canadian Cruisers site, it's all there!

BRO holds their annual Fallen Riders Memorial Ride. There are various points to join the ride, which eventually makes it's way to Queens Park for 1:00. Then there are ceremonies honoring those who have died as the result of careless inattentive car drivers,(who often get charged with ridiculous minor offences!!!) participants speak in memory of their lost friends and there is a memorial wall, too. Visit the BRO link above for more info on supporting this important cause, and remembering those who are not riding with us anymore :-(
