Good and Bad Weather

 

For all the love and waiting in vein

Has reduced my joy to sheer pain

 

Fear of death plagues his eyes

As he lays down and cries

 

I see his eyes start to well

As he thinks and starts to dwell

His beautiful blue eyes start to swell

 

He looks at meLooking for the answer

The doctor slowly whispers its cancer

 

I feel the pain inside me growing

As he cries why should I keep going!

Why did this have to happen to us now. Just as our love was growing!

 

He slowly wipes his tears

He quietly confesses his fears

We have not wasted our years
