Effects
The Cuban Revolution effected mainly the United States and Cuba(duh!). If you would like to find out some more information, just go to our bibliography page and find what you need.
The effects were basically broken down into three main groups: Social, Political, and Economical. We will deal with each one seperately.
Social
- The life expectancy went up from 59 to 75, the same as Britain.
- Doctors, no longer stopped by propaganda, were able to practice freely and were in abundance.
- There was little to no homelessness.
- The food was more plentiful, the water was more clean, and the kids were immunized.
Political
- Castro taking over the government of Cuba led to their diplomatic relations with Russia.
- This, in turn, led to the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missle Crisis.
Economic
The economic effects were few and far between. SO THERE. Check back later and there may be more.
