NEW EVENT in Corinth Vermont!!   

Saturday August 11th and Sunday August 12th 2007 at the old Militia Grounds.   The site was used as a training grounds for the  Town Militia since the 1700's and up through the Civil War, after the War it was used by the G.A.R. for their Summer encampments, since then it has been the home of the local Town Fair.   

A wonderful historic place to camp with easy access, total privacy, but within walking distance from the village store.

 

Living History Military and Civilian Camps, demonstrations by Infantry, Mounted Cavalry, Artillery, and Medical units, childrens program.

Toilet facilities, water, provided, also great food at a very reasonable price both days.  One fire pit per UNIT only, ABSOLUTELY NO WALK ONS.
