First off let me tell you that I am addicted to dance. I not only want to dance, i have to dance. Im 15 and have been taking dance lessons since i was 5 or 6. Ballet is my main point but i am also good at jazz/hip-hop. I have been on pointe for three years and love it even though it kills my feet because of my bunions.
Now for those of you who arent very familiar with ballet, i want you to know that ballet is probably a lot tougher than most sports, including American football. A dancers feet usually sucomb to bunions, (which i have) discolored nail, corns, crooked toes, etc. If you want to know more about the physical wearing of a ballet dancer, please follow this link to an article written by Tim Burton.
