Santa Evita

UGH! This song is awesome, but its got spanish AGAIN!
WHAAA!!! I hate foreign languages.
Also this song is WAY different in the movie than in
the soundtrack. So there might be a couple problems in
the transcript here. I'm including both versions.
Movie First:

Mob: Santa Santa Evita, madre le comos los ninos
de los de-la-vi-sa-does, de los descamisadoes, de los
I lost it de la Argentina.

If ANYONE can get me a good translation of that I'd be very very very happy.
That is all spelled phonetically. As if you couldn't tell. This is repeated
for a long time amongst lots of marching, a little gunfire, and some background
music. Mixture scenes of good and bad Evita publicity.

Councilman: This is a government of free people! We do not
come here to dance to the tune of Madame Pompadour!

This is spoken, yeah that's right, while this chanting thing is going on. The man
is obviously antieva. He is attacked by a couple other councilman. The whole theme
of this song is chaos. More repetitions of the "Santa Evita" line. Then a scene of
people taking over some newspaper office. Che goes in by himself and rips up a photo.

Che: Turn a blind eye Evita, turn a blind eye.

A very beautiful musical bridge. A children's choir is lined up outside a church singing
the praises of Evita. She goes in to have communion. This isn't exact either because they
repeat this kinda at random.

Children: Please gentle Eva
will you bless
a little child?
For I love you
tell heaven I'm doing my best.
I'm praying for you
even though you're already blessed.

Please Mother Eva
will you look upon me as your own
make me special?
Be my angel
be my everything
wonderful perfect and true.
And I'll try to be
exactly like you.

Please Holy Eva
will you feed
a hungry child?
For I love you
tell heaven I'm doing my best.
I'm praying for you
even though you're already blessed.

I believe the last verse is the one repeated but I'm not sure. Anyway we got back
to marching. I'm not watching the video now, so maybe some other time I'll get some
more exact transcript down here.

Che: Turn a blind eye Evita, turn a blind eye.

This part is really freaky. Che gets cut down by a sword, and with that sound affect
echoing Eva flashes her eyes open in the church and says "amen". She takes the cup of
wine, gasps, and collapses on the floor of the church.

Che:Why try to govern a country, when you can become a saint?
