"O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on."
-William Shakespeare

Envy and jealousy, one creature with two different names. A truly gross human state, but is no human free from its reign? No, everyone experiences it. It's when they decide to act upon it or change their values because of it that it becomes truly dangerous. Of course I want what others have, but I will not try to demean them to bring them down so that I feel comforted their loss, so that their good points will not glare down upon me. To do such a thing would be completely and utterly revolting. People will always be better at somethign than you. Accept that. To do otherwise might bring ruin to yourself and those whom you envy. Green-eyed monster is a truly desrving moniker placed on the sin, for it an all-consuming beast for many. Truly, I do not know why the color green is associated with it, but I would assume it was a color for sickness, and most definately excessive Envy is a disease of the worst sort.
